5 Simple Ways to Stack Necklaces

Have you heard of the Necklace Mess? Well, it really just means layered necklaces. Do you need some help achieving this look or maybe a little inspiration? I have always said you don't need flashy clothes all you need is a great white T-shirt and layer on some necklaces to make the look seem effortless and updated. The metals, lengths, designs, and gemstones...are endless and are so fun! There are so many options on how to combine and achieve the layered look.

5 SIMPLE TIPS TO MASTER THE NECK MESS

    1. DON'T OVERTHINK IT - THE SIMPLE STACK WORKS

If you are not into multiple layers, don't worry. The simple look works too and consists of very simple and delicate designs that combined together creates an elegant look and style. I would say very classic and easy to wear.

    2. KEEP YOUR STACKS 2-3 INCHES APART

I won't say I'm a rule follower, but I will say this one tends to work well. Keeping the necklaces ~ 2-3 inches apart will help to achieve the stacked look and will help with necklace tangles. You can do this by picking out necklaces in different lengths. The first necklace is around 14-15 inches and then I work my way down to 18 inches and then complete the look with longer pieces either 20 or 22 inches.

    4. DON'T BE AFRAID OF A SIMPLE CHAIN

Add in a simple paper clip chain or vintage chain into the mix. The paper clip chain has been the latest trend these days. I like them because they are easy to adjust the length. You can wear them short or long, with or without a pendant.

The most important thing is to have fun! Don't worry if it isn't perfect. Play around with the lengths, styles and add in a pendant or two. Mix and match metals, gemstones, and colors.
